Hold the last line

Operate the central cannon with Boom Mane in a flat 3D courtyard. Aim with mouse or touch and hold to fire. Defend thirty stages, including six checkpoint bosses, against flanking runners, shields, healers, splitters and acid artillery. Only the cannon turns with your aim; the lion stays at its controls. The tower falling means defeat; clearing every wave unlocks the next mission.

Controls and upgrades

On a phone or tablet, hold a finger on the battlefield to fire and drag it to aim; lift to stop. Tap the blast button for an explosion at the aim point and the pause button to pause. Left-click to shoot, or hold for continuous fire. Right-click or press Space to blast the aimed location, then wait for its cooldown; a blast button is also available at the bottom of the screen. Hold F to fire toward the current reticle and press Esc to pause. Between waves, choose one firepower upgrade or tower repair. Upgrades last only for the current battle. The overhead camera stays fixed: there is no camera rotation or jumping to manage.

Saving and comfort settings

Completed operations and best scores are saved in this browser. Export or import JSON from Pause. Leaving an unfinished battle restarts that operation from its first wave. Losing focus pauses play; choose Resume to continue. Pause also offers reduced motion, low graphics and assist mode. Graphics and assist changes apply when you enter a battle again. Gears from kills and cleared waves are kept after a settled victory or defeat. Spend them on permanent research in Workshop, or choose one of three saved combat stances in Talents. Research starts next battle. Reset research free with a full refund of allocated gears. Run upgrades reset each mission. The optional 10-diamond Aurora cannon finish is permanent and cosmetic only.
