Frequently Asked Questions

How many cards are used?
Spider Solitaire uses two standard decks: 104 cards total, with 54 in the starting tableau and 50 in the Stock.
How many columns are there?
The tableau has 10 columns. The first four start with six cards each; the remaining six start with five each.
Can I stack cards from different suits?
You can build descending ranks across suits, but only a descending run of one suit moves together or is collected.
Why can't I deal from the Stock?
In classic Spider, every one of the 10 columns must hold at least one card before you deal another row.
How many sequences do I need to win?
Collect all eight complete same-suit sequences, each running from King down to Ace.
What changes between difficulty levels?
One-, two-, and four-suit modes change the mix of suits; the 10-column rules stay the same.
Can I restart the same deal?
Restart Current Game reuses the same seed. New Game creates a different deal.
Does Undo restore a completed sequence?
Yes. Undo restores the previous tableau and the number of completed sequences.
