Three pegs and a stack of disks create a focused planning challenge: move the full stack to the goal peg while keeping every larger disk below a smaller one.
How the Systems Work
Select a peg to lift its top disk, then select a legal destination. The move counter compares your route with the minimum target: 7, 15, or 31 moves.
Hint marks legal destinations for the top disk on the first nonempty peg; it does not move a disk. Undo restores the previous board and move count.
How to Play
- Choose Easy, Medium, or Hard.
- Select a source peg, then a highlighted legal destination.
- Use Hint to show legal destinations for the top disk on the first peg with disks; Undo reverses your last move, and New Puzzle resets the board.
Strategy Tips
- Plan around the largest disk first and keep the destination peg clear.
- Use the minimum target as a planning guide, not a requirement for a successful solve.
