PANKO'S NUMBER GROVE
Clear number pairs that add up to ten. Open sight lines and keep the grove tidy.
Choose two numbers whose sum is exactly 10. They must touch or see each other across cleared spaces.
Remove pairs that total ten when they touch or can see each other through cleared spaces, opening new sight lines across the board.
Thirty number groves have become crowded with paired rune tiles. Panko clears them by making sums of ten under one consistent visibility rule.
The board never asks the player to guess a hidden value. Every number and every empty space needed for the next deduction remains visible.
A legal pair contains two values whose sum is ten. Equal values are legal only when both tiles are five.
The two tiles must be adjacent in the same row or column, or share a straight line containing only cleared cells.
Removing a pair creates new empty cells and may expose a longer match that was blocked before.
Undo restores one pair. Reorder rearranges only remaining values when available, while Restart restores the authored board.
Six chapters expand board size and introduce denser blockers, longer sight lines, competing pair choices, and layouts that require careful opening order.
Difficulty comes from spatial consequences while the arithmetic remains limited to sums of ten.
Numbers remain visible as text and the selection state uses more than color, supporting keyboard, touch, and mouse play.
No account, countdown, purchase, or public score is required. Local clears and best move counts remain in this browser.
