Damas

Juega una partida completa de damas en un tablero adaptable de 8×8, con capturas obligatorias, saltos múltiples, coronación y un rival que responde de verdad.
The board is a compact 8×8 arena where only the dark squares are playable. You begin with twelve pieces and the rival begins with twelve pieces, so every open diagonal can become an escape route, a trap, or the first link in a capture sequence.
Ordinary pieces move one step diagonally forward. A capture jumps over an adjacent rival piece into an empty square and removes that piece. If any capture exists anywhere on the board, non-capturing moves are not legal.
After a capture, check the same piece again: when another capture is available, the multi-jump must continue from its new square. Reaching the far row promotes a piece to a king, which can move and capture diagonally in both directions.
The rival answers after your turn and can make its own capture sequence. The match ends when one side has no pieces or no legal move; a long no-progress sequence can also settle as a draw. Hint marks a legal piece but never chooses the destination for you.
The opening teaches diagonal movement and the global capture rule. Midgame positions add competing capture choices and multi-jump decisions, while the endgame rewards kings, blocked routes, and move-count awareness.
The Checkers preview uses the same legal-move engine for touch, mouse, keyboard focus, Hint, the rival response, and accessible board labels. A selected piece and legal targets remain visually distinct, so the player can understand why a quiet move is unavailable without relying on hidden rules.
Checkers is a general-audience browser strategy game recommended for ages 9+ and family play. No account or purchase is required; the current match and Best record stay in this browser only.
