How to Play

Scout privately reveals one lantern symbol, remembers it, and tells Guide what appeared. Guide reads the current trail rule, then places the matching marker on the shared screen. One player can pass the device between roles.

Trail Rules

Early trails match the spoken symbol. Later chapters transform it with next, previous, echo, weather-shift, and mastery rules. The clue stays hidden during the handoff, so repeat the rule aloud before choosing.

Campaign

Thirty authored trails form six chapters with a checkpoint every fifth trail. A correct marker lights the rescue path and unlocks the next trail; the chapter rule changes the decision, not just the amount of work.

Recovery and Save

A wrong marker dims the shared rescue light and returns the turn to Scout for another attempt. There is no timer, purchase, account, or network requirement; unlocked trails and best clears stay in this browser only.

Player and Save Information

This is a general-audience co-op puzzle for shared-screen play. It has no public chat or leaderboard, and clearing site data or changing browsers can remove local progress.
