Mosaic Clues
Mosaic Clues
Match crossing clues to reveal each animal.
0 / 30Mosaic Clues
Read every row and column clue to uncover a hidden animal portrait.
World and Mission
Every number describes a continuous run. Complete the intersecting clues to restore each hidden animal mosaic.
How the Systems Work
Paint cells that must be filled, cross cells that must stay empty, and use intersecting clues to solve each mosaic without guessing.
Undo restores the previous mark, Restart restores the authored puzzle, and Hint explains a forced deduction without changing the board.
How to Play
- Read each row and column run from the outer edge inward.
- Use Paint for confirmed cells and Mark for confirmed empty cells.
- Complete every run to reveal the hidden animal.
Strategy Tips
- Start with rows or columns whose runs nearly fill the available space.
- Use completed runs to mark the remaining cells in that line as empty.
- Compare crossing clues before committing a cell.
Campaign and Difficulty Growth
Six chapters grow from guided 5×5 signs to deduction-rich 12×12 portraits across 30 uniquely solvable mosaics.
Developer Design Note
Every board has exactly one solution and is designed to be completed through deduction rather than guessing. The complete interface uses one centered logical layout with a 920-pixel maximum. Phone, landscape, and desktop views scale the same controls, hit areas, artwork, and game coordinates together instead of stretching individual pieces. Touch, mouse, and keyboard therefore act on the same legal state. The Main poster and Start Game action remain separate from Stage management, while Stage selection, Battle, dialogs, and Result keep their own bounded content and return path.
Parent Note
No account is required. Progress stays in this browser and may reset if site storage is cleared. You can play without creating an account. Progress is saved in local browser storage on the current browser profile, not in an online account or cross-device database. Clearing site data, using private browsing, changing browsers, or moving to another device can create a separate save or remove the existing one. Language, sound, and reduced-motion preferences follow the shared WeightPlay controls when the browser permits storage. No guide result is a medical, school, or professional assessment.
FAQ
- How many mosaics are included?
- There are 30 authored mosaics.
- Do I need to guess?
- No. Every mosaic has exactly one solution.
- Does progress save?
- Yes. Clears and unlocks are stored locally in this browser.
- Which controls and screen sizes are supported?
- The same rules support touch, mouse, and keyboard where the game uses those inputs. The interface scales as one logical layout across the required phone, landscape, and desktop viewports.
- Can progress move automatically to another device?
- No. This game currently saves to local browser storage only, so another browser profile or device begins with its own separate local progress unless a future account system is added.
