Cribbage
Choose a crib, score pairs/runs/fifteens, and peg your way toward 121.
Cribbage is a compact card race: choose two cards for the crib, peg without passing 31, and score fifteens, pairs, runs, flushes, and nobs on the way to 121.
Each round deals six cards. You keep four and place exactly two into the shared crib, then use the starter card to shape the scoring possibilities in your hand.
The short race alternates planning and counting: choose safe pegging cards, watch the running total, then inspect the Result summary after the hand and crib are scored.
During pegging, play a card only when the running count stays at or below 31. Fifteen and 31 score two points, while pairs and runs can score as soon as they appear.
When you cannot play without passing 31, call Go. The last legal peg scores one point; a count of 31 resets the sequence. Dealer order alternates between rounds.
Hand and crib scoring checks combinations to 15, pairs, runs, flushes, and nobs. The first player to reach 121 wins, and the browser keeps the local result for replay.
The race to 121 is the campaign: dealer position alternates, new deals create different discard decisions, and each Result exposes the scoring pattern to improve on the next hand.
There is no account skill tree or online match. Replay is the progression, with cleaner pegging and better discard choices as the practical mastery target.
Cribbage keeps the full decision loop visible in a short browser session: discard, peg, score, and review. It teaches the classic vocabulary through immediate totals without requiring an account or online opponent.
Play Cribbage free in your browser with no account or purchase required. Choose two cards for the crib, peg toward 31, and race to 121. Plan your keep, watch the count, and use Go when every remaining card would cross 31. Your score and the AI score stay visible throughout each deal.
