Read a hidden word one letter at a time, weigh the theme clue against the six-miss limit, and finish a complete short round.
Start a round and inspect the covered pattern.
Choose an unused letter from the visible alphabet. Correct letters reveal every matching position; a wrong letter adds one miss.
Use Hint to reveal the word length and theme. It costs one move, so spend it when the clue is worth the trade.
Solve the word to reach Result. Play again starts a fresh word; Back to main leaves the game.
The six-word deck uses the themes puzzle, habitat, space, place, food, and vehicle. The current theme and revealed pattern narrow the answer together.
A duplicate letter is harmless: it stays marked as used and does not add a miss. A loss after six misses reveals the word so the round remains learnable.
There is no hidden skill tree or account progression. Each short replay rotates through the authored word deck, so the challenge comes from recognizing a new pattern and theme.
Use the theme before spending a hint; a strong category clue can make the next letter obvious.
Prefer a letter that tests several visible positions when the pattern is still open.
After five misses, favor a high-confidence letter or use the hint rather than guessing broadly.
Hangman keeps the classic deduction loop readable: one visible pattern, one theme clue, harmless duplicate input, and an immediate Result. The same round works with the on-screen alphabet or a keyboard.
No account or purchase is required. Best results and preferences stay in this browser only. A round is designed for a quick session and can be replayed from Result.
