Read each five-letter result, keep useful clues, and finish a short six-puzzle round. Every guess narrows the next decision, so the goal is not only speed but a clear reading of feedback.
Wordle is a compact word route built from six authored puzzles. Each board gives you a five-letter target, a limited number of guesses, and enough feedback to turn one result into the next useful question.
The round is intentionally short. Finish the current puzzle, review the result, and use Play again to move through the deck instead of treating one solved word as the whole experience.
Correct place means the letter is at this position; Other place means a copy exists elsewhere. No extra copy means this guess has no remaining match for that letter after exact and misplaced copies are counted, so a repeated letter can receive a miss even when another copy is in the answer.
The six English puzzles can be played freely or with Clue lock. Choose before your first guess or hint; locked guesses must match every previous clue, including duplicate-letter counts and revealed positions.
Invalid or repeated guesses cost no attempt. Up to two hints each reveal one unresolved position without spending a guess.
Letter combinations are accepted without a full dictionary check.
Earn three stars by solving within three guesses without hints, two within four guesses using at most one hint, otherwise one for a solve. Each puzzle stores its best stars separately for both modes: 36 stars in total, not repeat-play farming.
A solve scores 500 plus 100 per unused guess, minus 50 per hint, plus 100 with Clue lock; an unsolved puzzle scores zero. Records stay in this browser; blocked storage keeps them only for this visit.
Wordle makes deduction visible through a five-letter board, three kinds of feedback, a limited six-guess budget, and an optional Hint. The six-puzzle route gives a solved word a next step instead of ending the value at the first answer.
Best results and preferences are saved only in this browser. No account, purchase, online profile, or cloud save is required; clearing site data can remove local results.
