Play as Fia, a fox investigator following a suspicious signal through a connected town, forest and hidden facilities. Question witnesses, reveal disguised threats and gather evidence. Follow the current objective; when asked to report back, return to Orla rather than searching for another enemy. New routes open as the investigation advances.
Desktop players move with WASD or the arrow keys, attack with Space or J, fire Skill with K, switch Vision with V, interact with E, and open the menu with Escape. On phones, use the joystick and the three action buttons; every visible world-interaction prompt is also a touch target. Enemies patrol and chase, while the Commander adds volleys, a line charge, and a punishable stun window. Losing all health returns Fia to a safe checkpoint instead of deleting permanent progress.
Begin with conversations and observation, then combine exploration, combat and Neural Vision. Defeated enemies grant experience that improves your combat stats. Recovered equipment can be equipped or removed in the menu. Later areas add tougher patrols, records to decode and choices with lasting effects. After a chapter result, Continue Exploring resumes the investigation instead of restarting it.
The world stays connected so clues lead back to recognizable people and places. Neural Vision changes what you can see without an energy cost; use observation to find hidden routes and threats. Touch controls and keyboard shortcuts operate the same adventure. Return to earlier places when the objective asks, and continue from your saved progress in a later session.
Signal Veil is free to start and requires no account. Important changes—quests, EXP, levels, health, equipment, opened chests, defeated targets, map checkpoints, and story choices—save automatically in this browser; ordinary movement does not write every frame. The optional five-Diamond Signal Anchor permanently adds maximum health but is never required. Clearing site data or changing browser or device can remove or separate local progress.
