Starlink

Starlink is an original 30-stage route puzzle starring Moon Cap Orla. Trace every constellation trail exactly once while start seals, comet arrows, numbered stars, keys, and gates gradually change which complete routes are valid.

World and Mission

The Animal Star Map has gone dark, leaving thirty constellations disconnected across six observatories. Orla restores each picture by drawing one continuous path through every visible trail. Completing five constellations relights an observatory and introduces the next navigation lesson.

Each board is an original graph designed for the rules shown on screen. The campaign ends at Stage 30 with a mastery constellation that combines the learned constraints; it never displays a nonexistent Stage 31.

How the Systems Work

Choose a star and continue through connected stars. A star may be visited more than once, but every connecting trail may be crossed only once. The constellation is complete only after all trails are lit in one continuous route.

Stages 6-10 require the glowing start seal. Stages 11-15 add visible comet arrows that allow a trail in one direction only. Stages 16-20 require numbered stars in order. Stages 21-25 add a key that opens a marked gate trail. Stages 26-30 combine these rules.

Undo removes the most recent step, Restart clears the current attempt, and Hint highlights one legal next star that still permits a complete solution. None of these actions spends currency. Keyboard, mouse, and touch share the same puzzle state.

Clearing a stage saves its best star rating and time in this browser and unlocks the next constellation. Earlier stages remain replayable, including Stage 30 after the campaign is complete.

How to Play

  1. Choose an unlocked constellation from the horizontal Stage rail.
  2. Read the rule panel and start at any valid star, or at the glowing start seal when one is shown.
  3. Drag through adjacent stars or tap them one by one. Never reuse a trail.
  4. Follow comet arrows, numbered seals, and key-before-gate restrictions when present.
  5. Light every trail to finish the constellation and unlock the next stage.

Strategy Tips

  • Stars with an odd number of unused trails often reveal where an open route should begin or end.
  • Before entering a narrow branch, check whether another unused trail can bring the route back to the main constellation.
  • Treat arrows, numbers, keys, and gates as route constraints rather than decoration.
  • Use Undo for a short correction and Restart when the opening choice has trapped several later branches.

Campaign and Difficulty Growth

Stages 1-5 teach classic open trails. Stages 6-10 introduce required starts. Stages 11-15 teach one-way comet paths.

Stages 16-20 add ordered stars, Stages 21-25 introduce key-and-gate routes, and Stages 26-30 combine the complete vocabulary in larger mastery constellations.

Developer Design Note

Starlink uses a responsive logical Canvas that fills the safe Stage and Battle area without stretching individual puzzle elements. Extra space is distributed through stable tracks and anchors, so phones and wide desktop browsers show the same route information and controls. The separate General ad reserve never overlays gameplay or Result actions.

Parent Note

Starlink runs free in the browser and requires no account. Unlocks, best ratings, and times are stored only in this browser; clearing site data or changing browsers may create a separate save. Skill feedback is supportive entertainment and not a formal ability assessment.

FAQ

Can I pass through the same star twice?
Yes. Stars may be revisited, but each connecting trail may be used only once.
Why can I not use a pink comet trail?
The arrow on that trail shows its allowed direction. Entering from the opposite end is not legal.
What happens at a dead end?
The attempt remains visible so you can Undo one or more steps or Restart for free.
Are hints required?
No. Every stage can be solved without hints; Hint only marks one route-safe next star.
Does progress save?
Yes. Unlocks, best star ratings, and best times are stored locally in this browser.
How many stages are included?
There are 30 authored stages across six rule chapters. Stage 30 remains replayable after completion.
